Gustavo Dudamel led the orchestra on a tour of major cities in the Eastern United States, as well as a jaunt across the Atlantic for performances at the Philharmonie de Paris and their third International Associate Residency at the Barbican in London. The orchestra brought a signature mix of exquisite performances and daring musical progressivism to Washington, Boston, and New York before heading overseas, where YOLA students teamed up with young British musicians for a joint performance and a conference on the role of music.
