Aaron Copland throughout the 2019/20 Season
Born in 1900, Aaron Copland became the quintessential 20th-century American composer. Using his “vernacular” style, he captured in sound the iconography of wide-open land, big sky, and unending promise. This season the LA Phil will present several of his most dynamic works.
