About this Performance

With music by Nathaniel Stookey and words by Lemony Snicket, The Composer Is Dead introduces instruments of the orchestra through a whimsical, whodunit mystery. Plus, enjoy Shostakovich’s rollicking “Galop” from his musical comedy and Lili Boulanger’s vibrant depiction of a spring morning that showcases the players of the orchestra.

This concert is recommended for children ages 5 to 11.

Please note: At this time, we are unable to welcome guests under the age of 5 who are not yet eligible for vaccination. Email us at information@laphil.org if you have any questions. Read more about our safety measures for the upcoming season here.
