About this Performance

Multi-hyphenate, multidisciplinary artist Saul Williams has been breaking ground for more than 20 years. After gaining global fame for his poetry and writings at the turn of the century, Williams has performed in over 30 countries and read in over 300 universities, with invitations from the White House, the Sydney Opera House, Lincoln Center, the Louvre, the Getty Center, and Queen Elizabeth Hall to countless villages, townships, community centers, and prisons across the world. Join Williams for a combined reading and conversation about the intersection of art and politics in America.

This event is free and open to the public. It will take place at the California African American Museum.
